Youth Savings Accounts
Study after study indicates that young people are often drastically unprepared to face the financial decisions they will have to make in their lifetime.
How can you help the young people in your family get off to a better financial start?
Bring them to your Credit Union!
We have two special programs for our young members. Both accounts may be set up so the child may or may not have access to the funds without the permission of the adult who set up the account.
 TheScottie Savers Club is for members 0-13 years old. They have a special teller window and earn 1 $cottie Buck for every $5 they deposit.
They can collect their $cottie Bucks and trade them in for prizes! Scottie encourages them to SAVE! Scottie Savers even get their OWN newsletter in with their statements. It’s called Scottie’s Scoop. It is full of helpful hints about money and it’s fun.
 Our Junior Partners Club (JPC) is for our members ages 14 to 18. Just imagine how much YOU could have saved if at 18 you had known even a little about finances! We offer checking accounts and even a special loan program for our Junior Partners.
